She walked along the outer edge of what had previously been her old school.
A light breeze touseled the long strands of her dark hair.
Kali couldn't believe the news when she had seen it on television but here it was.. all too true.
She had to come see it for herself.

She was sitting on a bench in the courtyard, enjoying the spring sun when it brushed across the top of her raven hair.
The crinkled edges still showing neatly folded lines from before. Blurred footprints showing the papers journey.

Curious she picked it up off the ground and carefullyopened it ...

The Rikti have been driven back.
Occasionally they still come in small droves, trying to forcefully take over where they spot weakness.
But, the people of Paragon, be it military personel, civilians,or capes have all been Heroes.
WE have kept them all back. Hopefully we can continue to do so ...

" You think this one looks ok?" Kali asked the florist nervously.

"well... the buns came from the store on third street.. whats it called? i forget.. and um the tuna came from there too. I swiped the mayo from Madame Lasinfore's kitchen. Oh i kinda swiped the relish from there too.
the mango - pineapple salsa my mom made and sent me from home. And the rest... well ...

"science experiment? You really think so? " Kali shrugs and replaces the lid before sliding the container across the table.

" of course theres room for you! theres room for everyone, I mean geesh it IS the cafeteria. And anyways if we need more room we can push more tables together later right? "

"It is! " Kali exclaims with a big grin.
"Except today we are calling it a tuna dog cause like its a picnic and we are using hot dog buns."

She makes this statement in a matter of fact tone before grinning .

" we have chips, salsa, relish..... oh and something i got from the science lab fridge in ...

well.. I didnt think we could like have a bon fire in here ya know? So i made tuna salad ! We can put it in the hot dog buns and have tuna dogs!

Kali giggles as she plops a spoonful of tuna into a bun , sprinkles it with relish and takes a bite.

gawd wheres a stupid boy when you need one !
Kali grunted as she pushed two of the lunchroom tables together.
Reaching into her backpack she pulls out two large checkered table cloths and lays them neatly across the tables.
Silently pointing at different spots on the table she thinks for a moment ...

Kali rushed into the library in a huff.
Sister ! Sister oh gawd I need a book! I need a book and I'm late for class! Can you help?

Sister Salvation looked up annoyed at Kali's outburst.
