Re: Christmas at Saint Joes ((Open))

Noah sat in a snowy field, making a familair crunching sound on the snow beneath him. The air was cold and crisp, and snow flakes trickled down from above. He held out his hand watching a few flakes land and melt away. Noah reached in his jacket, pulling out a small Angel like you would put on top ...

Re: Life During Wartime - Issue 10 Interludes

Noah didn't realize how bothered Jess was until she was leaving the lunchroom. Watching her leave knowing she was upset was enough to get him riled. When he saw a couple kids snickering at her as she walked by, and the door slam behind her, it was enough. Noah got up from the table and headed ...

Re: Flyers vs. Panthers, December 21st

Noah walked to the sideline, taking off his helmet and spiking it on the ground.

He took a deep breath and picked up his helmet. While the team celebrated, Noah just headed back to the lockeroom.

"NOAH!" Ty said jumping on Noah, "where you going?"

"I don't feel like celebrating" Noah said ...

Re: Flyers vs. Panthers, December 21st

"What makes us proud..." Noah said as he stood next to Biff, "You know what would make me proud? Taking the "Thriller" out of the equation. He's just flesh and blood Biff...that means we CAN break him. If we can neutralize him early, we can seal this one up."

Noah took some blood from one of his ...

Re: Flyers vs. Panthers, December 21st

Noah sat in the lockeroom, his whole body was hurting. These guys were fast, and unfortunately tough too. Noah reached in his bag for a little inspiration. He pulled out his favorite gloves, the black ones with the skull and crossbones on the back and strapped them on.

They were going to have to ...

A Little Inspiration

Noah sat in the lunchroom, deep in thought. Would they win the game Friday...would one of the other teams lose...woul...wait a minute...what the hell was he eating? Is that meatloaf?

Noah poked at it a couple times to make sure it was dead, then began to wonder if there was anything else that might ...

Re: Football Practice (OPEN)

Noah had been training hard the last week. Between Coach Water's workouts and the training he had been running through with Mr. Jennings, Noah felt like he was in better shape then he had ever been in.

The team was in high spirits, and they needed to keep it. Confidence going into the game could be ...

It was just after lunch, and Noah had moved on to gutters. He was standing on a small ladder, fishing out all kinds of nasty stuff from the gutter. The only thing that was making the day bearable was counting how many times he could get the sister to say "Oh Lord". He was up to 16.

He glanced over ...

Saving the world from...Weeds!

Friday had been an intresting day. One of those strange days when everything is going so good, you know it can only go downhill from there.

It started with the Football game, and the decapitation of the Hawks Mascot. The crowd had enjoyed Noah's little stunt, but the Nuns...not so much. After the ...

Noah had just finished changing and was hanging out with Diyar and Bill. It had been the same things running through his head, thoughts of the game and victory. Then there was a quick flash of something disturbing, and somewhat familiar.

"Hey Guys" Noah said calmly, "Lets go ahead head out"

He ...

When the game was over, the players and crowd cheered. Noah took off his helmet, holding it over his head.

While they had won the game, Noah still felt like he owed one to everyone for losing his head on the field. Noah knew exactly how to repay the debt.

"Detention...here I come!" Noah said as he ...

Noah closed his eyes while he adjusted his gloves. He listened to the Coach talk about giving 100%, and took a deep breath.

Coach was right, they couldn't relax. In fact, it was just the opposite. It was time to turn it up a notch.

He looked over at the other guys in the locker room. Biff looked ...

Noah watched as the ball sailed through the air. When he saw Nigel snatch it out of the air, he had to remind himself that the play was still going.

When the play was over, Noah ran over almost tackling Nigel, "YEA!!!!! YOUR THE MAN!!"

"We're doing good guys" Noah said to the defense, "but since when have we ever been satisfied with "Good"?"

Noah was wearing black gloves with a skull and crossbones on the back of the hands as he pounded his fists together, "We're stopping them, but we ain't hurting them. Stopping them is any ...
