((Inspired by a Hanging Out Post, I have duplicated it for Kris to finally have that pizza with the one friend she wishes she could spend time with, but never gets to. Kali.))
Kris sat in the Paragon Pizza on the corner of Elm and National, when it hit her. She needed to call Kali! What was pizza and a never ending pitcher of soda without a friend? Pulling out her cellphone, she called first to Kali's room, then she used her comm. Either way, there was Pizza to be had, adn a willing pizzaria to host such a thing!
"Hi Kali's voicemail! This is Kris! I just wanted to let your owner know that I have nothing in particular on my slate today, so I figured a round of pizza and all you can drink soda might help out a girl chat! Well, I'll catch you around! bye!"
She hoped Kali got the voicemail in time to do something about it...

Kali steps out of the dorm shower , wraps a long white towel around her and leaves a puddle of drips across the floor from her long wet hair to the room she shares with Lightfall and November.
As she digs through her closet for clothes she hears her com pager chirping away and turns to grab it.
" dang i missed a call" she mumbles as she clicks the button and listens to the message.
"Hi Kali's voicemail! This is Kris! I just wanted to let your owner know that I have nothing in particular on my slate today, so I figured a round of pizza and all you can drink soda might help out a girl chat! Well, I'll catch you around! bye!"
She giggles at Kris's addressing of her voice mail and replays the message again to try and catch where Kris was.

"Oh! There you are," the red head beamed as she replied on the Comm. "I'm at Paragon Pizza. The one before you enter the Security zone of Atlas Park (In some part of the city not within the walled zones). At Elm and National. These guys are really good at what they do! They have a window, where you can watch them toss the dough."
She just couldn't wipe the smile off of her face, as she told the waiter to get another glass, and to get ready for an order for the giant 26" pie. The man nodded, and turned to retrieve a glass, while Kris turned back to the Comm.
"I'm sorry I took so long to do this Kali," she appologized. "But, finally, my life is settling, and I wanted to make the most of the settled dust."
She just couldn't wipe the smile off of her face, as she told the waiter to get another glass, and to get ready for an order for the giant 26" pie. The man nodded, and turned to retrieve a glass, while Kris turned back to the Comm.

" Oh ..no ..wor..ries " Kali replies as she pulls the pink cotton baby tee over her head and kciks the com around mid sentance.
" gimme just 10 minutes .. Ill be right there. , ooo and I like everything on my pizza except those lil fish thingys so anything you order would be great. Ive never tried the fish ,,, but the thought of eating something thats looking back at me from over my pizza crust is sooo unappealing" she giggles again.

Kris can't help but giggle as Kali talks about anchovies.
"Good! I hate anchovies, and will get this variety thingy they're advertising. each section has its own set of ingrediants," Kris explained excitedly. "Anyway! I'll see you when you get here, and I'll see about a second pitcher, so you can order your fav drink, too! Byeeee!"
Kris bounced happily in her seat and made her girlie happy noises. She had always wanted this time they kept promising each other, since before Kali's break-up. And, now, here it was! They were getting their time! Kris just couldn't stop grinning.

Kali bounces into the pizzeria in a skipping step. Wearing the cotton pink baby tee and a well worn pair of faded jeans , lil leather sandles and her almost always present smile. The jade pendant gleaming around her neck.
As she steps in she glances around and sees Kris waving from a nearby booth.
In what seems like 3 steps she is there and slides into the seat directly across from the bubbly red head.
" Hi ! I made it!" Kali exclaims.
She fiddles with the placemat in front of her and looks around nervously at first , finally deciding to break the ice with kris.
" hey Kris? I um ... well i wanted to appologize for how i acted a few weeks ago. Im glad everythings goin good for you now" she smiles and continues, " so what kinda pizza did we get and soda? I really dont think there is a bad kinda pizza, I wonder if they have hot sauce here too?" realizing shes rambling Kali looks up to Kris with a slight blush.
" oh sorry Kris , sometimes i get carried away" she smiles again and takes a moment to breath.
As she steps in she glances around and sees Kris waving from a nearby booth.

"First off, Kali. I should appologize for all of that. I always try to be open minded, but my upbringing was very strict. Sometimes it just comes out, and then I think about it later, and pay the price in hurt feelings from a friend, as well as from myself," she explained, feeling quite guilty and sad for the whole messy affair. "Whatever makes you happy, is what you should follow. I may not understand or agree with its being right, but, I will always do my very best to back you up. Friends are for life, right?"
Kris smiled and wiped the mist from her eyes. She had needed to say this to Kali for a little bit, and truly hated carrying this type of baggage. It was drama, and Lycia had made it clear: Drama is evil.
"Secondly, I got the variety pizza! It has at least two slices of everything," she said excitedly. "And, I asked for all of the condiments. Garlic, parmesian cheese, red pepper, hot sauce,... Everything! I ordered A pitcher Mountain Dew and one of Pepsi. I personally will be doing the Dew."
Kris smiled and wiped the mist from her eyes. She had needed to say this to Kali for a little bit, and truly hated carrying this type of baggage. It was drama, and Lycia had made it clear: Drama is evil.

" So ... how are things goin really? I mean ... ya know.. its been so long since we really talked and all. I really had hoped to get a whole gang together and go out soon. Im thinking of having a beach party , Eshys did so well and so did Stones , i mean I know its another of the same but if everyone could come think how much fun we could have!" Kalis face brightens and her smile shows more brightly the more she talks of gathering everyone together.
She stops abruptly as a large pizza is placed in front of her, in the center of the red and white checkered table cloth.
" Oh dear Im sorry I was rattling away and didnt see You" she tells the waitress , who in turn smiles replying that it is no problem not to worry.
" This smells so good! I am starving!" she exclaims as she smiles to Kris

"So ... how are things goin really? I mean ... ya know.. its been so long since we really talked and all," Kali said as she opened a new ramble. "I really had hoped to get a whole gang together and go out soon. Im thinking of having a beach party , Eshys did so well and so did Stones , i mean I know its another of the same but if everyone could come think how much fun we could have!"
She stops abruptly as a large pizza is placed in front of the two, in the center of the red and white checkered table cloth. Kris looked it over, feeling quite hungry, since she skipped out on the meatloaf at lunch.
"Oh dear! Im sorry I was rattling away and didnt see you" Kali tells the waitress , who in turn smiles replying that it is no problem not to worry.
"This smells so good! I am starving!" she exclaims as she smiles to Kris.
The redhead smiled broadly, loving how Kali goes on a ramble whenever they talk.
"Well, I finally got myself ready for another beach party, by buying a ski suit. The other types really show off so much," she explained to her brunette friend. "There was another one after that? These things never get announced. As to how things are going... Well..."
Not being able to shield the feeling of happiness, Kris smiled even bigger.
"I feel like I have finally been blessed, after the tribulations I had to endure," Kris said. "My life finally seems to make sense. My feelings are finally mine, and not what the next person is feeling. I'm crazy for my boyfriend, and I'm remaking a friendship with Sapph. Kali. I feel good. I feel like I can finally relax, where my own self is concerned. It feels so good to be able to help others, and not have to worry if I'm stretching myself too thin!"
Looking back to the pizza, Kris' stomache rumbles loudly, making the girl burst into laughter.
"God! It does look good! Let's eat! If we feel like it, we could ask others to come too!"
