Thanks for the answers!
Nope, no guard stations. Just dozens of teachers, nuns and students with superpowers. :)

Small pets are allowed. The school defines a "small pet" as an animal that can be entirely restricted to a 10-gallon tank or small cage without ill effects. Therefore, things like fish, hermit crabs, gerbils, or even a little garter snake would be fine. Larger animals or animals that require exercise outside their cage are not permitted. Ferrets are not allowed. Birds are permitted, so long as they have their wings clipped and are not songbirds.

Service animals are of course permitted in the dorms.

School policy remains that you must have the permission of your roommates before any pet will be allowed in.

As for "laying down grass"? Well, you can have a window box, certainly. But if the administration finds you unrolling sod in your common room, there will be detention involved.
Also is it one big room with a bathroom? or is there smaller rooms a kitchen and a bathroom and closets?
Most dorms are quads, with two bunk beds on either side of a larger common room. Bathrooms and showers are down at the end of the hall.

Dorm rooms have no kitchens, nor are open cooking appliances allowed. Mircrowaves and mini-fridges are fine. No toaster-ovens or BBQ grills or anything, though.

There are, however, plenty of turrents. They're most useful when the militant furries from the Rouge Isles show up looking for Misericorde.

Wow, this is what I first thought when I first got here but somehow my view changed from the bunks being on either side of a large common room, to smaller rooms off of a large common room. Nothing huge, but enough for each room mate to have a small private place (Bed, nightstand, maybe dresser? Think mini prison cell size). I kinda wish I had asked this question before writing Roxy's little Christmas post now... Cause her other roommates might have no enjoyed her decorating the whole room in that case.

Are all dorm rooms in this set up or is there possibility that some others are of another design? I know you said most, but that is a rather vague term and I would kinda like clarification on that.

Ahh, I was answering Mana Cannon specifically with a description of the boys' dorm. The girls' dorm is different. I believe that's actually described back on Page 1 of this thread.

So far I've managed to figure out the following: St. Joe's has an indoor swimming pool. It's probably fairly modern and it's probably competition size. It's in the athletics facility, probably adjacent to the locker rooms. There's bleachers in the room for spectators during swim meets and such. Any of that incorrect, or is that safe to work with? :)

We have a swim team. Is there an NPC established as coach? Or, is Coach Waters in charge of all of the sports on campus?

Olympic size, yes. All that is safe to work with. There's also probably an old pool, in disuse, probably locked behind a door under the school building from before the days of the Athletic Center.

Waters is certainly the Head Coach in the Athletics department, but I would suspect he's more a track & field coach. Maybe a sveet lost son of Atlantis would be a neat addition to the Athletic Center staff.

Ok...

My turn. Purely for forum rp and story telling.

Something I've talked about with various people for a while. Considering the open door policy in the dorms, would it be possible for Bryan, Jason and Jake (if he's ok with the idea) to host a movie party in their dorm on a Saturday afternoon or something? Is this possilbe?

I would suspect the idea of hosting a party actually in your quad would be discouraged, unless you're talking more of a "get-together" and less of a "party". If you were thinking of having more than just a small few attend, you'd be directed to a common room/lounge or out onto the main quad.

He's talking about having people over to watch 'b' movies, hang out and just have fun.
