Looks up, astonished, then leans back to look over to Billi a couple seats over.

"Hey, Dallas! I think your new pet's off the leash again. You want I should take care of this for you?"

*quietly ignores what Jester says.*

" I didn't mean to intrude. I'm sorry."

Victor walks over and has a seat. Looks over at Ty for a response.

*looks around the classroom* You do what you think's necessary, Quinn. *laughs*

*looks across the classroom to Billi and waves*

Hiya Billi, welcome to Saint Joe's. I'm Mirage, if ya need anything I'll be in quad 12. *smiles*

[Jester Quinn]

Jester looks nonplussed at first being accosted, accused of being jealous and then being ignored. She blinks.

"Huh. Usually takes me more than four seconds to chase off the crazies but hey.. no complaints here."

She gives a 'thumbs up' to Billi and goes back to doodling a skeleton on her binder with a sharpie.

[Victor Agustine]

rips out a page out of his notebook. He quickly creates a rose. He slides it over to Jester.

" A simple peace offering. Didn't mean to be mean." in a low whisper.

[Jester Quinn]

She looks at the thing with disbelief, turning it around a few times. Eventually she shrugs and tucks it into the elastic band on one of her ponytails, rocking back in the chair again.

"Not me you should be apologizing to, Romeo. I'm not the one you tried to plant one on."

She grins then.

"But if you think that was 'mean', this school's gonna be a real eye opener for you. Nice knowing ya; I'll come pull you out of your locker after third period just to show you there's no hard feelings."

((Issue 14.5 update

Billi's been working hard at fitting in at SJS, and has had quite a bit of success since coming to Paragon. While she still pines for Texas sometimes, she's found enough in Rhode Island to allow the school to feel like a second home.

Billi went home for Christmas and ran into Colonel Westlake, the officer in charge of her case for the Air Force. He didn't come right out and threaten her, but it was implied. Since then, she's been much more conscientious about being in bed by her curfew, and has even tried to clean up her mouth a little. That second part seems to be a lost cause, but what can you expect from someone raised by cowboys?

Billi's relationship with Dar remains strong, with her having admitted (in public) several times to being in love. They are a mystery to most, but they seem happy together. Billi's been working to help Dar with his anger issues and problems brought on by being the Angavu, and that effort is bringing them even closer.))
