If though to be a good idea...as well as a plausible one.. I would like to head a Student Financial Services Department..

Main Purpose of Department

The financial services department will be a helping hand for students who are having problem funding some of their enhancement costs.

Depending on your Level, the help will be limited. for instance.. I have to run some numbers but a quick rough draft will be....

Level Max Limit
1-10 $20,000
11-20 $50,000
21-31 $100,000
32-41 $200,000

After level 41, you should have NO influence problems and do not require assistance.

CLAUSES

You are not allowed to have more than one loan out at a time.
Yes.. I said loan. However their are exceptions....

Level 1-20 DO NOT have to pay back.

Level 21+ are required to pay back 50% of loan within 30 Calendar Days of Loan Transfer Date. Failure to comply will result in broken Knee Caps. ;p

Just kidding.. but if you cannot make the 30 day due date, you can do the following..

30 Day rule: 50% of loan
45 Day rule: 75% of loan
60 Day rule: 100% of loan
75 day rule: 125% of loan
90 day rule: 200% of loan + possible knee breaking. LOL

If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact Ms. Mental via /tell or /email within game

If you are in need of a special Influence circumstance, I will be willing to discuss the situation and make a decision wether you qualify for the higher loan amount.

I will be keeping track of amount due, amount loaned. how frequently you pay early/ontime/late which will affect your future loan limit, payback time, and for exceptional credit customers, a special reward from time to time.

As long as the Student Government and Faculty have no problem with this I would like to implement this sometime this week.

(My two influence) I think this is a very good idea. Our ability to recruit and keep members, without having to resort for the really irritating "pay to play" schemes, will be augmented and it fits well with the idea of our school.

I have seen another SG do this once before with HUGE success.
I can easily refill ms.mental if Influence starts to get low, but I really don't forsee that happening anytime soon. LOL

I just think of it as Enhancements = Books... like college for instance.. FInancial aid will help with tuition and some book fees.

This sounds like a promising idea. It sounds like it's in-theme and isn't straight-out bribery.

My only suggestion might be just to make sure that no one borrows money who has been in the SG less than, say, two weeks or something? I wouldn't want to see anyone try to take advantage.

The Financial Aid Department is off to a good start.
We have given given out a couple level level 11-20 Grants.

Please don't forget... The Financial Aid Department is here for you.

((The financial Aid Department is a NON- Profit Organiztion, meaning the department is not making any profits from doing this, it is actually losing, but is definitly here for your benefit))

-- FYI, a member of ours actually sent and email to Ms.Mental in Game with a quick application such as Date of application...Date of Enrollment, a reference from a veteran schoolmate, a quick background of their toon. This is PERFECT!! HAving a reference is not required but really made it look official, and a very nice role play! Cheers!
