"Heya, Franky," Kris replied with a smile. "I heard of your success in Croatoa! I suppose that neck of the woods is a little safer for now, huh?"

Kris jolted, at the sudden presence of Wachabe in the quad, and the blushed with embarassment. She wondered how much he had heard, and felt a little uncomfortable.

*narrows eyes at the mention of Wachabe*

"Ummm..yeah. I'd call it a victory all around. I even got a new hat."

*holds up battered witch's hat*

"So....what's up Wachabe?"

Annie's skin turned a brighter shade of green as she watched Wachabe poke his head in after Francis. As he spoke, her spots started going from the normal pink to an orange-ish yellow. I was only after he walked back down the girl's dorm hallway that she seemed to mutter something in an alien language.

"Uhhmmmmm, so... You got a new hat, friend Francis?! It doesn't look like any of the other hats I've seen while here!"

Cricket watched Annie's reaction and waited until Wachabe was compeltely out of earshot,"So....Annie, how long have you had a crush on him, huh? He know? come on spill it! "

"Huh? What! No, no! It's.... he's.... he doesn't even like me! Why would I... and what would he... I.... just... just... uhmmm, uh.... i-it's not like i-it would even matter... he doesn't like aliens anyway..."

Annie begins to look back down at her soda, not knowing what to say.

"If you like him then you have to talk to him about it,so if he turns you down you can move on girl. besides if he don't like you just cause of where you're from, then he don't deserve a great girl like you...",said Cricket earnestly. She then looked at Frankie's hat and sighed...

"I gotta agree with Cricket, there," Kris nodded. "You deserve so much, Annie! I'm sure Prince Charming will come along, any time, and sweep you up for the ride of your life!"

Kris smiled, and sighed wistfully.

Annie smiled, her color starting to return to it's normal hue.

"I.... I don't think that will be happening, as far as royalty coming along. And Wachabe.... I don't know what it is about him. He was here when I was just an exchange student, and I thought he was kind of cute for someone with only two eyes, but now he just.... I don't know. But I totally don't think I'll be saying any of that to him."

Annie then began to munch on one of the shrimp while she opened the peanut butter jar.

"Annie," Kris giggled. "Prince Charming is sort of an ideal, not an actual person."

"Ohhhhh... it's funny just how many things humans say, that means one thing, and then, like, totally means something else.

But, uhmmm, I'm not sure what I would be able to find on Earth. Dates are nice and all, but afterwards Earth boys look disappointed when I ask them to be my friend. Am I doing something that's wrong?"
