well.. I didnt think we could like have a bon fire in here ya know? So i made tuna salad ! We can put it in the hot dog buns and have tuna dogs!

Kali giggles as she plops a spoonful of tuna into a bun , sprinkles it with relish and takes a bite.

Val wandered into the cafeteria for the first time in a long time. She heard the noise, she smelled the disgusting smells, she saw the lunch ladies serve their grop, and she sighed. She slowly walked to a nearby table, and emptied out her little paper bag. She layed out on the table: A huge roast beef sandwich with extra mayo, a bag of Baked Lay's chips, a container of vanilla pudding, and a Mountain Dew can.

As she began to devour her sandwich, a boy spotted her and shrieked. He ran up to her, and said:

"Dude, you're a snake-girl!! Shouldn't you be eating rats?!"

As the boy was laughing hysterically, she sighed and put her head down while she ate.

She ate quickly, and ran out the cafeteria.

Guess i'm back to fast-food, she thought.

"That is so lame. Kali, tuna are like, endangered fish! And besides, they taste all fishy."

Stasis sits down anyways but only pokes morosely at a bun.

Sean looked around as he heard the sound of some boy's curel laughter. Knowing that sound well, there were only a few things that could mean. As he saw Val finish quickly and leave the cafeteria, he re-packed his books and went after her.

On the way out, mysteriously, the laughing boy's soda sprayed him in the face as he opened it. Sean glancd back for a bit and smiled quietly.

He saw Val outside the cafeteria and ran to catch up with her.

"Hey, Val....you okay?"

Fighting a pounding headache but knowing he needed some food before his mid-afternoon training, Diego stalked through the lunch room doors. The voices were incoherent at the moment, unless he focused on nothing but them, but the noise of even the currently low-grade hostility was painful. There was no telling which faction would be loudest, how they'd have him train or how far they'd push. Best just prepare and go about his day.

Right away his awareness triggered; something was different. He stopped and surveyed, and his brows drew together as he saw the spread. What in...

Diego slowly, almost cautiously, walks up, and asks "Eh....hola. What..ah, es this?"

Stasis looks up, grumpy.

"Well, for a second there, I thought it was lunch. Instead its just tuna because *somebody* didn't think to swipe a bunsen burner from chem lab. I guess we could dip the chips in the relish for flavor."

She looks at the new student and a flicker of concern crosses her face.

"Heyla, you okay Zorro? You don't look so good."

Diego fights the urge to frown, but not the urge to rub his temples. "Zorro, eh? No mister today? I es ok. Es nothing." He looks back over the food at the table, over at Kali, and back to Stasis. "Why es tuna no lunch? I like tuna.....ah, who es this food for?"

"Hey guys!" Bryan yelled over to the group. "Sean and Val said there was food type edibles in here that weren't dangerous to consume. It sounded like a fish tail to me, so I came to check it out."

He walked over to the group with a grin. "Mmmmm... is that tuna salad?"

"It is! " Kali exclaims with a big grin.
"Except today we are calling it a tuna dog cause like its a picnic and we are using hot dog buns."

She makes this statement in a matter of fact tone before grinning .

" we have chips, salsa, relish..... oh and something i got from the science lab fridge in that container.... I opened it but i'm not sure what it is. Its fuzzy and cute though look!"
Kali grabs the plastic bowl and holds it up towards Bryan.

Bryan turns slightly green at the alien substance in the container. "I think," he said with a grimace, "you may have hijacked someone's experiment."

Gently pushing it away from under his nose. "I'd love to join you guys for lunch though, if you have the room."

"science experiment? You really think so? " Kali shrugs and replaces the lid before sliding the container across the table.

" of course theres room for you! theres room for everyone, I mean geesh it IS the cafeteria. And anyways if we need more room we can push more tables together later right? "

Bryan settles himself down to the table and grabs an handful of chips and a tuna dog.

Kat walked through the cafeteria, floating her tray in front of her and humming quietly. I still cannot get that song out of my head! Seeing the checkered table cloths, she walked over and smiled, waving at the group. "Hey, Bryan, Kali. Hey, Stasis. What's the occasion?"

"Hiya Ekat! I just heard there was a party so I just hurried over."

Bryan pointed to Kali's handywork, "Lot's of good stuff. These tuna dogs are great. Wanna sit?"

"Sure! I mean, if this is a private party I can scoot, but since you asked..." Kat grinned and looked at her tray. "The tuna dogs have got to be better than whatever they try to pass off as food around here. Arkady is so lucky he doesn't eat." She plopped down on the seat and reached for a bag of chips.
