Saving the world from...Weeds!

Friday had been an intresting day. One of those strange days when everything is going so good, you know it can only go downhill from there.
It started with the Football game, and the decapitation of the Hawks Mascot. The crowd had enjoyed Noah's little stunt, but the Nuns...not so much. After the game was a little stranger, but hopefully it was the beginning of the end for a dark chapter in Bri's life. To top it all off, he got to hang out with Jess for awhile at D last night. That was the perfect way to end a already good day.
It was a good thing that he had crammed a lot of fun into last night, cause he wasn't gonna see much of it today. It was 8am, and Noah was outside pulling grass out of the cracks of the concrete. The black and white outline of one of the sisters, always in the corner of his eye. This was just the first of many chores he had to spend his day doing. This was his reward for his Mascot stunt at the game.
He was supposed to be meeting Jennings later that night, so it was looking to be long and very uneventful day. Noah was still going to try to have what little fun he could.
Noah sat on the concrete pulling grass singing, "Nobody knows..the trouble I've seen. Nobody know my sorrow..."
Noah was not a good singer, in fact he was making it a point to sing as off key as possible. Every so often he would hear a sigh from the sister, which made him smile.
"If you must sing Noah, could you try a different song?" The sister asked with a smile
"This is the only good "prison-ish" song I can think of" Noah said with a chuckle, "I didn't have time to learn any other ones...I was too busy making a shank out of my toothbrush"
"Oh lord" The sister said smiling rolling her eyes, "So dramatic"
"C'mon sister sing along, don't let "the man" keep ya down" Noah said in a revolutionary tone.
"Noah....grass" She said pointing to the sidewalk
Noah smiled and let out a overly dramatic sigh before continuing his song, "...Nobody knows the..."
