Once you have a student in Saint Joe's, there are a few things you should do at your earliest convenience.
1. Toggle into SG mode. You can do this easily by opening the "Super" tab and clicking the toggle. Now you're earning prestige, which is a requirement of promotion.
2. Tour the base. The SJS base has a large floorplan and several different resources for members. You'll do yourself a favor by learning what features the base has, and how to use them. If you need help, just ask!
3. Register on these forums. I always suggest that students create a forum identity using their character's in-game name. If you don't, I will have to investigate who you are before I approve your access.
4. Finish reading the threads in this forum. They contain helpful information and all students should try to read and absorb.
5. Read through the "Student Information" forum and learn about some of your fellow students. You can do this even before your forum access is approved. The biggest reason to do this is to start figuring out where your student is going to fit into the group.
Please remember, after your enrollment you are a probationary member. You will be asked to meet with the Student Council at the Office Hours following the conclusion of your probationary period. At this meeting, we will give your character another once-over, discussing any positive or negative criticism your character has received during probation. At the conclusion of the meeting, you will either be granted full membership status as a Freshman, put on extended probation to review problems or conflicts, or removed from the group.
