Eric beams at Franky and Tara for a moment, then bounces over to the bleachers to join Alex.
"AlexAlexthatwasawesomedidyouseeIdiditIdiditIgotpeopleexcited!!!!!!!"
Eric crashed-landed into Alex for a huge hug, then bounced back off.
"Now ssshhhh Alex, it's someone else's turn!" He giggled and took a seat on the bleachers.

Oby slipped in unobserved and picked out a seat near Alex and Eric.
"Hey, roomie, I guess we get to see who'll be stoking the fires of the crowd for us next season, huh?"
Oby looked over at Eric. "That was certainly some show you put on." He watched as several spectators tripped, or ran into things as they tried to adjust to their new found speed. "I think it'll be talked about for some time." Oby winked "You might want to let your crowd know to take things slowly for about 5 minutes after you charge them up." He watched some other students as they zipped around, wide grins, and laughter flowing from the feeling of speed "Although it looks like you definitely could have some avid fans."

Up on the bleachers, the usual crowd had gathered: many of the athletes of Saint Joe's always came to the cheer tryouts, half to laugh and half to encourage. And when Franky called Roxy's name, a low murmur passed through many of them: this was a real test for the young freshman that Barrier had adopted, brought into their midst.
Tolliver leaned forward and poked a finger into Barrier's side. "Kairi? What kind of tiptoe-through-the-tulips name is that? I thought you said she was cool?"
Barrier grinned back. "Yeah, it's nearly as bad as Saskia. Or, heaven forbid-- Tolliver." She turned back to look across the gym. She cupped her hands around her mouth and shouted, "yeah, Roxy! Woo!"
"Hey!" Tolliver cried. "My name is a Moniker of Manliness! An Appellation of Awesome!"
Jack chuckled. "You just keep telling yourself that, Tolly."
"Oh, I will," Tolliver assured the larger boy. "Hey, I forgot to ask-- you nail Kali the other night? She must get a kick out of that vibrator attached to your shoulder."
Jack flushed red, almost as deep as the enamel of his mechanical arm. Clenching his jaw, he stood, and immediately Tolliver leapt to his feet to match his show of aggression. Biff saw the anger on his friends' faces and stepped in, interposing himself between Tolliver and Jack Tower. "Whoa, guys. Tolly, that was outta line. Jack, sit the hell back down."
Both boys complied, but now anger was in the air.

The one problem with training in the school pool was the lack of clocks.
A damp figure swung through the gymnasium doorway and leapt into the top tier of bleachers, leaving a gust of wind that carried with it the faint chemical smell of chlorine. The Saint Joseph insignia embroidered on the school towel made it look like a comical sort of cape as it trailed behind Rooster from its seat over his shoulder.
Landing carefully, Jade trotted along the narrow wooden steps, making his way over to his quad-mate and the others nearby. "Hey, Eric! Glace, Oby! I didn't miss anything, did I?"

"Oh, that's me." Roxy said shyly as she got up from the bleachers and walked down to the floor of the gym. Coming in front of Francis, she just mentioned to play something with a beat, it didn't really matter what it was.
As she crossed back away from the table to get some room, Roxy heard Saskia from the bleachers and looked up. A small smile crept upon her face to know that she had some support. 'Okay... I don't know much about cheerleading but I did do gymnastics for a few years before...'
Roxy trailed off but quickly shock the thoughts from her head, 'Enthusiasm I'm not that good at... But, I do know how to dance... a little...'
A catchy pop beat overcame the gym and Roxy snapped back to attention quickly forming a dance routine. Starting off slow, Roxy did some very simple and routine dance steps, and shimmies. Various different hand gestures thrown in fitting in with the beat of the song.
It all seemed pretty average till, what Roxy assumed was the chorus picked up and she began to add in flip or two with her dance routine. She actually somehow managed to tune out the crowd who gave a slight gasp in amazement at how much height Roxy had gotten in the air.
Focusing only on the song, Roxy began to fall more into a gymnastic routine and was now alternating dance beats with various flips and moves. As the beat picked up so did Roxy, and she somehow out of fluke managed to pull off a very flashy move in beat with a dramatic chord in the song.
Not even remembering there was a crowd watching, Roxy could almost feel that the song was coming to a close and went for a big flashy finish. Gaining some momentum, Roxy did a series of backflips one after the other, and vaulted off the ground performing a spinning backflip.
One, two revolutions, the crowd really didn't care, the spectacle that Roxy pulled off was that not befitting of the quiet shy girl she was. Coming to a perfect landing, she slid down into the splits, just as the song came to a close and threw her arms into the air.
A few yells from the crowd and a round of applause brought Roxy back, as she quickly remembered just what she was doing. Getting to her feet, Roxy walked back to the table and looked up curiously to see what Saskia thought, but quickly refrained from using her powers, and then it dawned on her... 'Why didn't I float...?'

"Woooo GOOOOO ROXY!!!" came a loud shout as a vaporous form slowly floated up from the floor next to Francis. "Oh. My. God. That was like SO totally cool!!!!
Even though the girl had not fully materialized yet the sheer volume of the voice identified it as Lycia.
"ooo sorry I'm late, Franky! Who'd I miss?" she asked peering over her pink-haired friend's shoulder.
"Aw man... I missed Eric!! darn it, I like totally wanted to see that, but I like got totally Ooo!!" The hyperactive ghost stopped midsentence, something in the crowd catching her eye. Quickly she snatched the list of names from Francis.
"HEY!" Francis protested "Don't make me exocrise you..."
"You wouldn't dare, beside this list aint complete Franky!! We're missin a name!! Gimme that pen!!!" Lycia hastily scribbled a name on to the list.
"THERE!!! Perfect!!! seeeeee!!!" She shoved the list in front of Franky's nose to show her the last minute addition.
"Now on with the tryouts!!! NEXT!!!!!!"

Tara smirked at Frankie's comment, then her fingers flew across the keyboard as she prepped it for the next request...She was pleased that ..Kairi? was able to groove the the song she had picked for her...of course if the next girl didn't pick a song she had one ready...."I hope they like the Lords of Acid...", she thought...
Contrapasso was one of the many people cheering Roxy on as she finished her try-out. She was certain to make it on the team. He'd have to start going to games to watch her.
He watched as she spoke briefly with the goth, then walked over and sat down in the bleachers next to... Barrier. Where had she come from? He'd looked around the room and she hadn't been there just a few minutes ago, he knew he had! How could have he missed the troll with her little posse? He scowled across the room at Barrier.
He suddenly realized he was one of the few people still standing in the bleachers. He took his seat, but he kept watching. The troll was up to something, and he'd have to find out what.

Late again... Kali thinks as she rushes down the hall stopping at her locker long enough to shove her books in and grab out her sweats.
The pink ones with the flying pigs down the left leg and a pink tee shirt.
Well ... hopefully Im not too late and Franky will let me still try out.
She changes in the girls locker room quickly and rushes to the gym.
As she slides in her socks around the corner , tennis shoes in one hand she sees the crowd in the gym and freezes.
"oh my gawd.... Im never gonna be able to try out in front of this many people" catching Crickets attention she waves briefly and then slinks quietly into a corner to watch.

“Stasis Kiss: Sometimes you just have to do something drastic and shake things around a little. ”
Oby grins, seeing Kali try to hide in the corner. Looking at Alex and Eric, he waves "I'll be right back, guys."
Walking over to the corner, with a smile, he holds out a hand. "C'mon, Kali, you know you'll do great. Besides, I need someone on the sideline that understands football to help cheer." Oby winks at her, making a nod with his head to the table.

"Okay Oby!!" Eric bounced in his seat, turning to Alex and Jade.
"Wow, Roxy did great! She's always so quiet, but that was awesome!!" He giggled, obviously quite excited. "Was I that awesome, Alex? You should have been here for my try-out, Jade, it was fun! But Roxy's was just as fun, so it's okay. Were you swimming? You smell like chlorine." Another giggle. "I love water! Oh, I wonder if I could cheer and swim at the same time? That'd be so fun! Where did Oby go anyway?"
Looking around the room, Eric finally spotted Oby with Kali in a corner. He jumped up and down, yelling excitedly across the room. "HI KALI!!!!!"
Giggling, he plopped back into his seat and turned again to Alex and Jade. "I hope she tries out, too! I bet she will, she's awesome!!"
