"Aura? That *odd* little girl?" 'Del said before she could stop herself, then pressed a hand to her chest and looked chagrined. "Oh, that's just awful of me, ah'm such a terrible person! Of course she should be Homecoming Queen, bless her heart! Yes, yes, certainly, we'll do everything we can for her, the dear!" 'Del made a show of thinking, then she put her hands on both the girls' arms in conspiratoral glee as she exclaimed, "You know, we can shop for a dress, but if we don't find quite the right thing, we can get something and make some alterations...ah've done outfits for the cotillions back home." 'Del clapped her hands. "This will be exciting! A Cinderella, and three fairy godmothers to see her through!"

Kara interjected, "Yep! We are going to have fun...oh, wait! Should we campaign for a King, too?"

'Del answered, "Of course! I'm going to be campaigning for Brandon Jordan..." She paused, looking at them slyly. "...My new beau!" she finished dramatically.

[Kara]

"Really?" said a completely unsurprised empath. "That is great! Well, that sounds like a plan. Any objections?"

[Brianna Landers]

"It's alright, Del. Not many people get AUra right out. Even I don't entirely get her yet. But she is my friend and this would make her year." She took a moment to go over the nominations for King in her head. Dar seemed to make people nervous. Luke was right out. No way she was going to make her friend dance with him.

"Brandon or Bryan. If Del wants her guy up there with a crown I say we have our nominations!" Bri smiled and started over the list of people she needed to talk to and get to change their votes from her to Aura.

"I need to find out who is in charge of the Tree campaign. I mean, YES, a joke is good, but come on."
