Luminarium (aka Cammi Dumke)
Luminarium
Cammi Michelle Dumke is part of a wonderful yet typical family in Provo, Utah. Nice well off, righteous parents who loved each other and her dearly. She was accepted into the cheerleaders of Provo high, she sang wonderfully in the church choir, talented in Jazz dance and a straight A student going into the honor’s program. Her dad, Mitchell Dumke is a well known real estate agent that deals with the high end housing in Salt Lake City and area. Her mother, Tracey Dumke, is a professional wedding photographer and a homemaker and often aids her husband in decorating the show homes. I am still learning about her parents.
Their daughter has an unprovoked thing for shocking her parents. At the age of 13 she picked up on pulling harmless pranks on her parents. One of which had a bucket of food coloring with water, the kitchen and a doorway. Eventually her parents became numb to her antic’s two years later. However late in to the late years of her 14th year of life, she very fell sick. Her parent’s didn’t believe her at first, for she’d cried wolf to many times. Once they discovered their only child was actually ill took her to the doctor’s where she was diagnosed with an unknown, but fatal disease. From what I know the Family prayed and fasted for the young girl to get well. A few people of larger stature, as I have learned “Apostles” in their church visited Cammi before her 15th birthday and gave her a blessing of health which is common in their belief. I happened to come by when she was near losing her hope and faith that she would get better.
At night I chose to enter the room. She awoke, startled at my appearance I’m use to it. I identified myself as Lucius to her and I told her I could help her by if she could help me out in turn. Having issues speaking Cammi didn’t understand how she could help the white light that I appeared as. She managed a short “How?”. I explained that I had traveled across the country in search of some one I could help out. I had felt impressed to head east and found her. I overheard the poor girl praying. I’d never heard anything like it. I explained that the last person I helped was in paragon city, we called ourselves called Kheprus. During my quest, we found ourselves consumed with helping fight against the second invasion of the Ritki and during the battle my host was inflected with an fatal injury to my host. I stayed with him as long as I could before Ian slipped way. I must complete my mission, and I need her to help me. I cannot share with her the details of it just yet, perhaps when she gets use to my presence. I explained to her that I was a Kheldian, an alien life form that relied on hosts to share existence with to extend our life.
She whispered something to herself with her arms crossed, shortly after she agreed. She didn’t want to die, and we merged, and went to sleep.
The next morning proved interesting.
Her parents were shocked. Her hair had changed from blond to white during the merger. It was pretty clear something had happened to their daughter during the night. I awoke to a hushed argument between them. The idea of their daughter relying on me to heal her instead of God, was unsettling to them. She said something then that shocked me, she told them that she believes I was sent there to heal her from God. Quickly I reminder her that I wasn’t sent to her by God, I’d come on my own. She stayed firm on her statement. I was confused. She again tried to explain what I was and that I needed help. She felt something then, I didn’t feel it. Never in my existence has that happened. She spoke with such conviction; something caused her parents to understand as she spoke, but they still didn’t fully understand. I offered to talk to them. Cammi said no, she could handle it.
I told her quickly about a special school in the Rhode Islands. A school that would help her out and learn to use to abilities and prepare her for the responsibility of being a Peacebringer. There she’d meet Sunstorm, who would be there to help her along as well. The school is called Saint Joseph School, I had a brief experience with some of their students, they were talented with the powers and abilities they had. Cammi offered the idea to them. They considered the idea. It took only a few days before but not right after she dyed her hair pink, I found myself back in Paragon City, waiting for the train to take us to City hall and the security clearance desk.
Hero name. Cammi seemed stuck on that part. I offered her a few suggestions. She liked a few of the Latin ones. I defined a few, in the end we chose, Luminarium “House of Light” was chosen to be our name, kind of a literal definition you could say. Now our story begins, and I look forward to this experience.

and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith,

Cammi has not been seen out side of school since her last sighting in pocket D.. Which was a little alarming. Cammi has not been dealing with her blended emotions very well as they conflict and she often walks in the hallways with a lost expression. She has not shown a lot of comfort in her own skin and it has affected her greatly. She stays in her dorm and studies, doesn't say much but Hi
