Bit about myself: Well, I go to school at SJS, its a catholic school with a lot of people like me who have special powers and Stuff, my favorite afternoon activity is to hang out in my room and play videogames or read, and I also occasionally cook up some prank or another that lands me in detention. My favorite subjects are music, shop class and math, and my dream is to have fun every day of my life.
Anyhoo,
my day was pretty fun today, met more new people, this comm is pretty cool, and heroing is kinda fun since I get to sing while doing it, even if I look even more like a total nerd. Day one of the new prank is underway, and just got my math homework done for the night! Then i went out for pizza, hung out with some of my new friends. they seem pretty cool, and I hope they wanna hang out some more later.

Ahem, anyhow. I'm Arlina, I'm a bit of a nerd, I probably watch way too many cartoons and anime, my sense of humor borders on terrifyingly bad at times, and you've probably seen me lurking in the front of the class more than once with my nose buried in a book. Yes, the rumors about me are probably true, except the ones that aren't. I also hate long walks on the beach and think that marshmallow peep's are a food group.
My favorite videogame ever is Star ocean 2, I blog obsessively, hence why I left a link around school for people to find, and I'm usually wasting my free time with wild abandon. I don't mind tutoring people in math though, or shop class, I'm good at that stuff, so dont hesitate to ask.
As for life goals, I think the closest i have to one really is to just make life a bit more amusing for everyone, anything further than that is too much of a bother for me to really think about.

Arlina was born in the suburbs of paragon to a middle class couple,and had a relatively normal upbringing. She eventually showed a huge liking for music, theatre and more geeky pursuits like videogames, and was well liked by students around her school for her cheerful attitude. This lifestyle continued most her early years, up until her 14th birthday,
While walking home from a practice, she witnessed a small girl being attacked by a few local bullies, and chased them off. The girl was not what she seemed to be, however, claiming to be a faerie princess and offering Arlina a single wish of her choice. Arlina was of course skeptical, but not wanting to hurt the little girls feelings, she proclaimed in a grandiose manner "I want a voice everyone will remember". To her horror, the little girl WAS a faerie princess, and the wish truly did come to being.
MAGI quickly got involved once they learned what had happened, and after extensive research concluded the contract was unbreakable unless the faerie's name was discovered. Soon after, Arlina's parents were contacted by representatives from SJS and her parents and Arly both agreed it was best for her to try attending the school in the hopes of at least controlling her new powers.
Two years have passed since that point, and Arlina has long since gotten over the initial shock of the change, she is now well known to the nuns as an irrepressible, if mostly harmless prankster who nonetheless keeps her grades up and more than once has offered her services to help with minor tasks like helping with repairing equipment for the stage crew for plays or the choir, with seemingly no end to her willingness to pick up a wrench or help move props and music books. Lately, she has also been given clearance for a security level and commlink, and has since fashioned herself a hero identity of the name Hocus-Pocus, mostly named as such to poke fun at her own powers.
Powers: Arlina's powers are a unique form of faerie magic, based on the wish she made 2 years ago. Above certain volumes or when singing music, Arlina's voice taps into the wild energies of faerie and floods those around her with visions and hallucinations of the realms of Faerie. The results are somewhat unpredictable but usually set off panic and terror in her foes or allow her to protect allies with the illusions. She however cannot control the exact way they manifest, nor does she truly understand how or why they work.
