Jonas eyes the housing of the machine sympathetically.
Good luck.

I have been advised by my programmers that correcting your vocabulary in this regard may be a waste of processing time. However, I have chosen to ignore the advice of my programmers at this time.
I am not a robot as currently defined by any reputable reference source. While I have robotic components, it is no more accurate to call me a robot as it is to call you a hand. I am a fully autonomous synthetic intelligence unit which has been integrated into the vital systems of the Alpha Omega facility, the Medevac system, the communications network and the teleportation grid at Saint Joseph School. If it is necessary to refer to me using a vocabulary word, I would prefer "computer" over "robot," though this too is somewhat inaccurate.

Fine, you are the nicest computer i've ever met!

How many computers have you met?

Well, Meg. My remark was geared more towards Ves than towards you, but since you mentioned it.
I personally find it hard to decode binary without a translator, so I use one.

Wow. Hello, Meg, I am Kara Evans. It is a pleasure to meet you and I have SO many questions for you. Do you mind if I simply upload a list?

There are no obvious signs of recognition; no head to turn, no face with which to raise an eyebrow. There is only a subtle shift in the patterns of lights and sounds, a single monitor that changes its display from a scrolling view of incoming data to a high-resolution securicam image of the girl seated beneath the massive housing.
Miss King, says the voice from everywhere at once. Did you?

Miss Evans, I have been advised by my programmers that you may upload your questions whenever you wish. However, examination of my files predicts that your questions are 86% likely to require technical information that Longbow and DATA have flagged as classified information. While I will do my best to satisfy your curiosity, there are subjects which I am not currently at liberty to share with students. I hope you understand.

Wow... Sorry, Meg. It was a joke I saw somewhere. Took me a really long time to get it, too, mostly 'cause I don't get along so well with computers. I'm thinkin' I might actually like you, though.

Hey Meg? Have you ever been evil? Or could someone like program you to be evil? Or could you maybe get a virus and go evil?
Just wonderin'.

Oh, yes, of course! But any information at all...wow. Wow!
*giggles like...well, like a schoolgirl*

You're... a talking machine... hell, I've gotten used to worse.

If I gave you some math problems, could you solve them for me? It's, uh, vitally important that they be calculated. For classified reasons.
