Father Bob, as he likes to be called, is an old horse among the Catholic community of Paragon City. At Saint Joe's, he celebrates Mass and generally ministers to the student body (and to the faculty, too). He takes confession and is one of the only men allowed anywhere near the residence. Though his voice carries a great deal of weight, he prefers to leave the day to day business of actually running the school to the administration, preferring to do the job he has done for many years... give hope.
Because of his fatherly demeanor, he is often compared to the motherly Sister Mary Moltar, he is not nearly as meddlesome. Known for his ability to calmly approach a situation, he often gains the trust and respect from the students because he is often willing to turn a blind eye to their extracurricular adventures just so long as they come to confession. Over the years, one student or another would return to find Father Bob calmly waiting for them with firm words of warning and a warm smile.
