Doc Syl was basking in a few moments of peace and quiet, when the a loud thump interrupted thoughts. The door slowly opened and a odd little head peered in. It was the mouse, Mister Sqeekers, looking very unhappy and slightly beat up. She rose and stepped towards him," Are you ok?". His eyes focused on her and he seemed to concentrate before speaking in his odd little voice, "I's not know what wrong, but's everythings is moving so slow...", the confusion and fear were plain in his voice. Doc Syl turn to pick up one of her instruments saying, "It'll be ok, just hop up on to this examination table and we'll get to the bottom of this...". The next thing she knew something flew past her in a blur and slammed into the wall behind the examination table. "Ow", said the mouse as he slowly slid down the wall and on to the floor,leaving behind a partial imprint in the wall....

Doc Syl rushed over to the still form of the little boy-like mouse, "don't move...",she said as his fuzzy head started to turn towards her. She skillfully checked him for any major injuries and was relieved at finding none. She gently lifted him and placed him on the table. She could feel his body trembling, and wondered if it was from fear of what was happening to him now or fear of her. She knew his story and knew that his coming to her or any doctor was quite an act of bravery after what he'd been though.

She began to examine him, constantly comparing the results to the data she had on file for him. The results were...very odd. Finally she was done, "Sqeekers....tell me what happened to you before you felt that everything slowed down as you put it....", she saild in a calm and soothing tone.

The fuzzy little creature closed it's eyes and looked as if deep in thought. He opened them and focused on the doctor,before he began,"I's know that I's was trying the saves some doctors froms the Meatloaf men's.....". He stopped when she arched an eyebrow, "The who?". He thought for a moment, trying to think of the other names held heard for them, "Um's...da stinky pukies?...da Vaziloks, I thinks..." She smiled at him now knowing whom he was talking about,"Please go on...".

"Well I's knows theys real baddies, ones whos kill....so's I tried to finds them as fast as I's could...and..." ,Sqeekers paused and looked confused. Doc Syl spoke calmly,"Was that when things started to *slow down*?", she promted. Sqeekers looked at her and nodded. "Did they expose you to any strange chemicals or weapons...well stranger then usual for them?",the doctor asked. "No's...", he said quietly. She smiled at him and checked her charts trying to figure out a way to explain to the little creature just what had happened to him. "Well, I think I know what has happened.....", she began.
