Poor, pitiable Reggie Coughlin is a sophomore at Saint Joe's. He's a little short, carries a bit of extra flub around his middle, and suffers from occasional acne flare-ups. At the age of fourteen Reggie developed a limited chameleon-like morphology. His eyes are on short, closed, conical stalks and are able to operate independently, giving him what is effectively 360 degree vision. When frightened or while trying to hide, both of which happen almost daily, he is able to change the color of his skin and hair to better blend in with his surroundings. Rumor has it that he may also have a long, sticky tongue that he can project at great speeds. If this is true it isn't an ability Reggie has used in public.
Reggie is a remarkably talented student. A semester hasn't passed where he wasn't on the honor roll, and he takes the most challenging courses he can. He's also a member of the National Honor Society. Unfortunately Reggie isn't very athletic. In essence Reggie is a big, freaky nerd. This combination of intelligence, an unusual appearance, a lack of physical aptitude, and his overall reserved demeanor has made him a prime target for the school's bully squad. While his heightened perception and limited camouflage should protect him, he rarely remembers to use his gifts before it's too late.
He escapes the harsh realities of high school by playing online games. He prefers World of Warcraft, in which he plays, among other characters, a level seventy female Night Elf Rogue.
