More pizzazz!
Alright, I'm not sure who designed the SJS site but, no offence - and not that *I* can do any better, aherm, Adobe Go Live! whore here - but I think http://www.SuperHighSchool.com is lacking in the visuals and creativity department. It's so...drab.
Spruce it up a bit! What are our school colors? Mascot? Encorporate that! Make it preeeetty and easily navigatable. Perhaps add a roster with a screenshot or a drawing/image of the student, with their stats and personal information, a quote, etc etc. Kind of like a year book? *HINT*HAND IN YOUR SUPERLATIVES PEOPLE (and stop leaving things blank!)*HINT*. I know we have a lot of students and some come and go or become inactive, so that can be somewhat hard. But that's just an idea.
If anything, since I won't be playing this summer, I can try to draw requests? My bf has a scanner,soooo...yeah. I'm pretty craptacular but if I sit down and attempt to draw on non-lined notebook paper, maybe something cool will spew forth from my mechanical pencils! It'll give me something to do and it's a decent way to make up for my, er, colorful persona.

So, maybe someone should volunteer to help Mimi with the site? I am willing to bet she has a lot on her plate in the really REAL world, as well.
Monitoring the forums probably takes up a good portion of her free time as it is.

Ok well i herd form alittle bird once that basicly if your going to make an impression ....use flash.....the school could really really hit off and get alot of prestige if you use flash.
When i go to a group website i ususaly see amiture html, all put togeather, kinda boring dry and just there it gets the point across but its not professional. Now the PCSAR website is near pro, ours dosent compair its dry and boring........Now add flas the menues can be spinning or you could turn a page in a notebook or colick on a text book and it will open into the menue you can place the text on the page as if the user was looking into a book. Its not to hard but it takes up space, and the only draw back is when people visit they need a flash player (witch flas 5 sould be standard on everyones computer by now)
But you can also use a mixture of flash and HTML and still get a reallly really good sigh. I only know basic flash but i tell you now a good flash site is VERY perswasive and has alot of eyecandy compared to just an HTML site.
