Penelope walked into the dorm room, arms weighed down with big, bricklike pieces of black plastic, and dumped them on her bed, along with a stack of leaflets, then turned to her roommates.
"Hey, uh, I'm gonna throw a movie night, now I got all these tapes and a VCR. You guys wanna come? It'll, ah, be here."
She thrust out a leaflet to each, each with garish pictures from movies from the 80s and 90s, "16 Candles", "Sleepless in Seattle", "Titanic", among others. There's also a mention that there could be an "Ann of Green Gables" marathon in the future.

Re: Movie Night (Half-open, Esp Billi and Francis)
Billi stares in shock and then starts going through the tapes. "Dear holy God, Penelope. Where'd you find these, anyways? Ain't you got anything like Pure Country or Braveheart? Now THOSE are romances, shug. I may stick around, but I ain't gonna guarantee anything."
Billi grins a little to take the sting out of her words and then goes back to her Chris Crutcher book.
