Staff Position: Infirmary; Special Needs, Conventional Medicine
Saint Joseph’s has had a long history of producing some of the most devout healers in the faithful of North America. However, there are some students who have special medical needs that require in-depth scientific training. Some mutations have damaging effects that require long-term examination, some scientific mishaps have unexpected quirks on a child's development, and then there are the times when the sisters are busy at other parishes.
Doctor Orson, or "Doc Syl" as some of the students call her, is on hand at Saint Joseph’s to help with the care and healing of the young superheroes. With several doctorates, her highest personally held honor was the service she was able to give to the various superheroes during the Rikti War. It was during her service at the front lines that she heard the story of the students at a catholic school, and their fight against the invaders.
Once the war was over, Doctor Orson sought out the school and petitioned to be a part of the still being rebuilt institution. She was convinced that she would not only be able to contribute to the next generation of heroes through her medical skills, but she would also be able to find something at the school that all of her medical and scientific training couldn't give her; Faith.
