Re: A storm on the horizon...
Wow...I can't believe it's been just over 2 years since I first brought Jessica to the halls of this school. At first I wasn't going to update anything, but decided a farewell update might be in order.
Jessica's last year at St. Joe's has been a very eventful one. Her friendship with Alex Dutchman and Joni Jacobs seemed to cement even further, with the three being together nearly all the time. A short lived relationship with Darweshi Brown took a hit on her self-esteem, but that very quickly turned around when a much more confident (and suit-free) Malcolm asked her out shorty afterwards. The two have been together ever since, and Jessica has seemed MUCH happier because of it.
Jessica's adoptive father, Jason St. Peter, moved into a more permanent residence in Hero Heights, enabling the two to see more of each other since his return. In addition, Jessica has been spending a lot of time with a new friend, a girl from the Isles named Bridget.
A few months ago, Jessica's relationship with Joni and Alex practically fell apart. Things are slowly mending between them, but they are not seen with each other nearly as much. Jessica and Malcolm, however, have become much closer, the two making a promise (once Malcolm is done with school) to remain together.
Jessica's aspirations to go to the Air Force Academy were destroyed when she recieved a rejection letter from them; she decided to pursue an elistment instead, with the intention of transferring it to Vanguard.
These new plans, it would seem, are also on hold. A random run-in with another "stormy" while stopping a mugging had Jessica meeting Arctica Blitz and the Monk of Shangri-La, two members of a newer supergroup called the Advent Guardians. After going on a few patrols with them and getting to know the members more, she was finally formally invited to join them. It was the perfect opportunity to stay in Paragon City. As she graduates, Jessica will be accepting the invitation to join Advent Guardians.

Jess!
Hey, CVC buddy! I think you're dad's still mad at me. He's SO got temper issues. (:) ) But he's a good guy who wants what's best for you, and I do too.
Good luck with everyone, and stay well. I'm sure I'll see you and him around some.
